To speed up delivery for customers, Vodafone’s enterprise services business has moved from legacy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to cloud-native Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS).

As a result, it now has a cloud-native orchestration platform that offers a single integration layer that connects data and workflows to cut development time and improve governance.

This modular, API-first architecture connects data and workflows through pre-built connectors and low-code tools, cutting development time and improving governance.

This iPaaS layer - which started to be built three years ago - is now said to be the foundation for scalable growth and faster delivery.

For example, 30% of this part of the telco’s workflows are now self-service, and over 100 million automated tasks are completed per month - freeing up the FTE equivalent of eight engineers, who are now freed for higher-value projects.
