Simple Energy Expands Siemens Xcelerator Adoption To Scale EV Engineering

Siemens Digital Industries Software has announced that Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy is expanding its adoption of Siemens Xcelerator to support advanced vehicle engineering and the development of new electric vehicle variants.

The expansion includes broader use of Teamcenter X for product lifecycle management and the adoption of Designcenter X for vehicle design and engineering. Simple Energy is replacing its legacy 3D computer-aided design software with the cloud-based Siemens platform.

The announcement was made at Realize LIVE Asia Pacific 2026 in Bengaluru.

Managing Increasing EV Complexity

As Simple Energy expands its electric scooter portfolio, the company must manage increasingly complex vehicle assemblies, design configurations and product variants.

It is using Teamcenter X as a central platform for managing engineering data, product lifecycle information and enterprise-level bills of materials. The software is intended to help engineering teams collaborate while maintaining consistent product data across vehicle development programmes.
