Boomi was once described as an iPaaS vendor. Now, Boomi bills itself as a "data activation company."
What is that? Well, Boomi says it can help your enterprise "Turn complexity into endless possibility with Boomi, a single platform that integrates applications, APIs, data, and AI agents."
We'll see about that endless possibility thing, but I do know this: Boomi has piled up some very solid data transformation use cases (when tight budget non-profits can win with your solutions, that gets my attention - and a place in my top AI use cases of the year). And: Boomi CEO Steve Lucas and I like to argue about AI - and those kinds of arguments inform thinking.
