AT&T will let you preorder the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for free with trade-in - what to know

On Wednesday at its Unpacked event in London, Samsung revealed the Galaxy Z Fold 8, its latest flagship foldable device, alongside the Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8. If you have a phone to trade in, AT&T will give you up to $1,900 off the new Fold 8 -- paying the full price of the new phone.

The Z Fold 8 weighs just 201 grams, making it the lightest Z Fold yet -- about the size of a passport. The cover screen has a 10:16 aspect ratio, designed for messaging, social updates, and quicker actions, while the unfolded main display has a 4:3 ratio for watching videos and gaming.
