What to build AI on? Red Hat’s Summit offers answers

The Red Hat Summit ran last week in Georgia, Atlanta where the open source software grandee explained how its products can bridge the gap between legacy, AI and sovereignty systems, arguing that Red Hat Enterprise Linux is the best host for AI workloads, with the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform promoted as the orchestration platform for the AI era.

So, what is on the minds of Red Hat customers? Red Hat CEO Matt Hicks set the Summit agenda by saying this:

Today’s pressures are forcing a question I hear from leaders everywhere I go. What do I actually build on? Not which vendor. Not which cloud. Not which model. What is the foundation that lets us move at the speed the business needs – without putting at risk what we absolutely cannot break?
