We Cut Four of Five Tabs From ROLL Beauty and Shipped Anyway

Version 1 of ROLL Beauty went live on the App Store on August 28. It is free, it is iPhone-only, and you can record once without creating an account.
Before anything else: this is not a completion announcement. What shipped is the smallest version of what we have built. And as I write this, the next version is already in review. Let me go in order.
Version 1 Does Three Things
1. It captures. You lean your phone against a wall or a book, wait out a countdown, and turn all the way around once — in your chair, with your whole body. It takes about eight seconds. You rotate; the phone stays still.
2. It rotates. Drag the record with your finger, and you see yourself from the front, the side, the three-quarter angle, and straight from behind. Thirty-six frames, ten degrees apart....
