What just happened? Earlier this year, Iran threatened Big Tech companies, warning that it could target and destroy their facilities in the Middle East in retaliation for US-Israeli bombing of the country. Now, Amazon appears to be tacitly confirming that Tehran did indeed destroy some crucial IT infrastructure belonging to the US giant.
Amazon recently confirmed that Iran's threats against US tech corporations were all but real. The company provided a few updates on the health of its AWS services in the Middle East, stating that some of its facilities have been damaged to the point of becoming completely inoperable for the foreseeable future.
