Today’s Wordle Hints, Answer and Help for Sept. 12, #1911
Looking for the most recent Wordle answer? CNET publishes daily answers and hints for The New York Times Mini Crossword, Connections, Connections: Sports Edition and Strands puzzles. And here’s a page that Wordle players should be sure to bookmark. We’ve made a list, with help from the Oxford English Dictionary, showing which letters show up the most in English words. So if your starter word isn’t getting the job done, consider switching to one of the words that utilizes more of the highly ranked letters. (I like TRAIN and CLOSE.)
Today’s Wordle answer is bit tricky. I just don’t guess three of these letters very often, especially the middle letter. It’s a fun word, but feels a bit vintage to me, so I wonder how many people will guess it. Read on for hints and the answer.
