Data center demand delivers for FedEx
Demand in the AI and data center space is now such a rapidly scaling growth engine for FedEx that the firm now sees this as a horizontal ecosystem rather than a narrow vertical.
According to Brie Carere, the company’s Chief Customer Officer:
We are capturing demand across the entire value chain from traditional hyperscalers to the industrial and power infrastructure that support these massive build-outs. What differentiates FedEx here is our unmatched responsiveness and our premium capabilities, leveraging network priority, near real-time monitoring and white glove handling.
FedEx’s agility is paying off, she adds, citing the example of a major global technology customer that had a last-minute critical need to move multiple pallets of tech infrastructure to the United States. Other customers inevitably include the hyperscalers, as well as broad-based industrial growth in support of the build-out of data centers:
