Whisper it quietly, but certain bricks in Apple’s walled garden might be getting taken away.

Thanks to some recent upgrades added to Android by Google, it's now easier than ever to share files between an iPhone and an Android phone, without installing any new apps (though that's still an option too).

So if you need to send a photo, contact card, web link, or anything else, these are the options you have available. As is often the case with Android, they may vary depending on the make and model of your handset, though you should find at least one of these methods works for you.
