The “Beverage Barge” Saves Swimmers From Thirst

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and have a swimming pool in order to survive the summers. In the pool, I have a Big Bobber floating cooler, so I don’t have to get out of water to grab another drink. But sometimes the Big Bobber drifts away from me, which is devastating. John Boss is smarter than me, so he built this “beverage barge” that can fight currents and keep the drinks at hand.

Boss built this for use in natural bodies of water, but it would work for lazy pool owners like me, too. It floats, of course — but so does the Big Bobber. Boss’s big breakthrough was adding thrusters, so the craft can motor around. Boss can control the thrust from his smartphone, so he can pilot the boat (and drinks) to wherever it is needed most.
