Samsung's Flagship Phones, Including Upcoming Flip 7, All Lack Camera Upgrades

The Galaxy Z Flip series already experienced a sales decline of nearly 15% with the Z Flip 6.

Samsung's latest flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 have minimal camera hardware improvements, as reported by Android Police. According to recent reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to continue the trend of minimal hardware upgrades:

• 50MP primary camera

• 12MP ultrawide lens

• 10MP selfie camera

This would mark the third consecutive year that Samsung has used the same camera hardware in its flip-foldable lineup.

Similarly, the Galaxy S25 Ultra maintains most of its predecessor's camera hardware except for an upgraded 50MP ultrawide sensor. The device retains the following camera setup:

• 200MP primary camera

• 50MP ultrawide camera (upgraded from 12MP)

• 50MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom

• 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom
