Rumor: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Will Have 8,960 Cores

Rumors about the next generation of Nvidia GeForce chips have been trickling out to gamers lately. The most recent purported leak comes from comes from someone who goes by “Kopite7kimi,” who has been a solid source of leaks in the past. VideoCardz, which has been diligently digging up the RTX 5000 info, also brought to light the news about the 5070 Ti from Kopite7kimi.

If the rumor is accurate, it seems to mark a trend of the RTX 5070 Ti (8,960 CUDA cores) being a solid 1,200-core boost from the RTX 4070 Ti (7,680 cores), but not as big of a boost as the RTX 4070 Ti was from the RTX 3070 Ti, which had 6,144 cores (so a 1,536-core jump). Still, that’s more than enough improvement to drive many gamers to upgrade, we’d imagine.
