Redditor Reveals New Case of Burned RTX 5090 GPU Power Connector

Although there aren’t all that many burned GeForce RTX 5090s out there, no one likes to see another one pop. With the prices of Nivdia’s flagship graphics card hovering in the thousands, the idea of one dying is almost painful to contemplate. That’s not to mention your gaming downtime or (almost as rough) plugging in your old graphics card. Yikes. Anyway, back to the issue at hand: As Videocardz points out, a Redditor who goes by Roachard alleges that their RTX 5090 power connector fried out of the blue. Being both a Redditor and tech-savvy, they documented the damage extensively and provided a solid description of the events.
