The popular Solana DEX and automated market maker (AMM) Raydium recently announced the launch of its token launchpad, similar to Pump.fun. This token launchpad, LaunchLab, is rumored to have been in development before the news of pump.fun developing an in-house AMM was announced, which severed the unofficial partnership between Raydium and pump.fun. Raydium LaunchLab is not in direct competition with pump.fun; rather, it's focused on developing a launchpad for teams who do not want to develop their programs from scratch, and for users who prefer the Raydium AMM V4 pool for migrations.
