Platinum Games and Team Ninja reveal Ninja Gaiden 4

Platinum Games today revealed its newest game, Ninja Gaiden 4, the latest game in the legendary action series. It’s making the game in partnership with the series’ longtime developer, Team Ninja. They plan to release the new game in fall 2025 on Xbox, PC, Game Pass, and PlayStation 5. Team Ninja also announced the launch of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remake of the second game in the series, a remake that is currently available on Xbox Game Pass.

Ninja Gaiden 4 stars new protagonist, Yakumo, a young ninja who’s battling his way through a futuristic, cyberpunk-flavored Tokyo that’s being overshadowed by the cult of the Dark Dragon. He’ll eventually come into conflict with the series’ longtime main character, Ryu Hayabusa, who’s also a playable character.
