Nvidia Will Launch an Arm-Based PC Platform in 2025: Report
extremetech.comNvidia has been developing Arm-based CPUs and system-on-a-chip (SoC) designs for several years, but it's never made them for client PCs. That will reportedly change in 2025 as the AI behemoth wades into the hotly contested client PC arena to battle AMD, Intel, and most importantly Qualcomm. Nvidia will likely compete in the newly created "AI PC" environment with laptops using CPUs and GPUs designed for Windows and AI.
There have been previous reports about Nvidia entering the Windows market with its very own Arm-based CPUs, and now Digitimes is saying the new platform will be launching in September of 2025. The paywalled report was flagged by Tom's Hardware. Additionally, the report says Nvidia's entry into the market for Windows PC will likely be positioned as a premium product.
