Garmin GPS Watches Are Stuck in a Boot Loop After Software Update


Garmin has recommended that users who have not yet experienced any issues should consider powering down their devices until an official solution is provided.

You might have heard of BSOD (blue screen of death), but have you ever heard of BTOD? Many users of Garmin watches have reported experiencing issues where their devices become stuck in a boot loop, which is now being referred to as the "blue triangle of death."

The issue appears to affect a range of Garmin models, including the Forerunner, Venu, Fenix, Vivoactive, and Epix series. Reports reveal that the problem may be linked to a recent software update related to GPS functionality. Users have seen that using GPS features causes the device to enter a boot loop. And when GPS is not used, the watch seems to work normally.
