Drag X Drive uses Nintendo Switch 2’s new mouse features
venturebeatOne of the new games Nintendo announced at its Switch 2 Direct is Drag X Drive, an original title that uses the new Joy-Con 2’s built-in mouse function as its core mechanic.
The game is a sports co-op title, featuring 3v3 basketball matches with players in wheelchairs. The game launches on Switch 2 sometime this summer.
Nintendo says the game “challenges players to use the mouse controls with both Joy-Con 2 at the same time to intuitively steer, speed up, perform tricks and make plays such as dunks.” The players use the Joy-Con to steer each wheel individually.
Drag X Drive appears to serve the same function to Switch 2 that ARMS did to the original Switch: It helps introduce the new hardware features in a fun way to new players.
