Atlassian gets fiscal 2025 off to a strong start with revenue up 21%

Fresh off the back of its Team 24 Europe conference in Barcelona last month, Atlassian cheered Wall Street late last week with a strong start to fiscal 2025.

For Q1 2025, total revenue was up 21% year-on-year to $1.188 billion, of which subscription revenue was $1.1188 billion, up 31% year-on-year, with a net los of $123.8 million. Cloud revenue was up 31% year-on-year, to $792.3 million, data center revenue climbed 38% to $355.6 million, while marketplace and other revenue increased 16%, to $59.8 million.

Other stats of note from the quarter:

• There are 300,00 customers in total.
• More than 500 customers now spend $1 million+ ARR.
• The firm now has 46,844 customers spending $100,000 or more in ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), up 17% year-on-year.
