Apple MacBook Air M4: news, rumors, and everything we know

Apple's M4 MacBook Air refresh has been leaked, and it was thanks to Apple itself. As reported on, the recent macOS Sequoia 15.2 update apparently comes with references to the "‌MacBook Air‌ (13-inch, M4, 2025)" and the "‌MacBook Air‌ (15-inch, M4, 2025)."

The update is seemingly being made available for Mac16,12 and Mac16,13 devices, which currently don’t exist but are currently considered to be the two upcoming MacBook Airs.

This leak is rather unsurprising since there have been plenty of rumors surrounding the refresh. And, going by Apple's own product release schedule, the refresh was bound to happen either late this year or in 2025.
