When I arrived at my home airport after a trip to France, I knew something was wrong as, one by one, I watched my fellow passengers collect their bags from the baggage carousel, while my trusty rolling suitcase had yet to make an appearance. It never did. However, I also knew there was no need to panic. Thankfully, before handing over my suitcase at check-in, I had tucked a sophisticated little tracking device into it. So, with just a few taps on my iPhone, I could see that my bag had apparently decided to spend another day in Paris. (Who could blame it?)
