A couple months into 2025 and most of the TVs for sale today came out last year. Here are our favorites.
cnetTVs have a predictable seasonal cycle. Every year, a bunch are introduced at CES in January and hit shelves and online retailers in the spring. Meanwhile, last year's TVs are still available for significant discounts. 2025 is no different, although potential tariffs could drive up prices soon. With that in mind, here are the best TVs CNET has reviewed, from high-end QLED and high-end OLED to midrange mini-LED to cheap 4K smart TVs, with more new TV reviews coming soon. And don't worry about the models we recommend below being old or outdated. TVs are a pretty static technology, so we don't expect the 2025 sets to be much better than the ones below, even though they'll cost much more.
