‘Supergirl’ Release Date: When You Can Stream the DC Studios Movie

Supergirl, the second feature film released from James Gunn and Peter Safran’s revamped DC Studios, follows Kara Zor-El, Superman’s younger cousin, as she searches for meaning, family and home.

Milly Alcock takes on the titular role of Supergirl in the new comic book adventure (not to be confused with the Arrowverse series of the same name) which now has a streaming premiere date.

Joining Alcock in the DC movie are Eve Ridley as Ruthye, David Corenswet as Superman, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills and Jason Momoa as the immortal bounty hunter Lobo. Supergirl was directed by Craig Gillespie
