Scammers want your launch day money: this tool stops you falling foul of fake Samsung Galaxy Unpacked pre-orders

Beware of low-price or early stock Samsung Galaxy pre-orders after the July 22 Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. They might be too good to be true.

Scammers will be praying on those looking for stocks of the just-announced Flip 8 and Fold 8 handsets and anyone looking for a cut-price deal or an early release unit should watch where they browse.

There will be fake shops out there ready to take your money, your identity and maybe drop you some malware all at the same time.

There are some simple things you can do before you buy, though. Check the URL of the store you're in. It may look like one you know but AI has made it incredibly easy to create and clone pages that look legitimate.
