Samsung Unpacked is tomorrow: a wider Z Fold 8, a second foldable, and maybe AI glasses

Samsung has picked London for its summer showcase, and it wants you expecting something folded differently. Beyond the date and a teaser, though, the company has confirmed very little.

Galaxy Unpacked runs on Tuesday, 22 July, at 2pm BST, streamed on Samsung’s site and YouTube, CNET notes. The official tagline reads “a new shape unfolds.” Everything below is leak, not spec sheet.

The headliner: a wider Z Fold 8

The star is the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Leaks describe a wider, shorter “passport” body, with a roughly 5.5-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch inner display. That breaks from the tall, narrow shape every Fold has used since 2019.
