Roblox's top creators are making $65 million a year, while most took home about $1,500

Bottom line: Roblox's creator economy is growing fast, but the money isn't spreading evenly. Creators earned about $1.7 billion on the platform over the past year, and the top 10 averaged $65 million each, nearly double what they made in 2024. The median creator, however, took home around $1,500. That gap is the backdrop for Roblox's next big push, which could give its biggest creators a much wider audience.

Roblox is preparing to let developers ship their games outside the Roblox app. The initiative is called Roblox Everywhere, announced at its developers conference in San Jose last week. It will let creators publish their games as standalone apps on mobile, PC, and consoles, while Roblox continues to provide the engine, servers, and backend services.
