2D Barcodes: Enhancing Security, Customer Experience while Building Trust and Transparency

The application of 2D barcodes for electronic labeling is changing how product information is shared across the supply chain. Notably, 2D barcodes like Quick Response (QR) codes are graphical representations that carry a lot of crucial information encoded within. This capability is increasingly making them a versatile and effective solution to meet modern consumers’ need to access detailed product information. Today’s consumers expect more clarity and information from product labels, and the implementation of QR codes and widespread use of smartphones is helping them access them easily. 

For instance, with a quick scan of a QR code on a smartphone, consumers can access product information on their devices within seconds.
