Production Issues Have Delayed Sony's PS5 FlexStrike Fight Stick

Sony has delayed the release of its FlexStrike wireless fight stick for PlayStation 5 and PC, moving it from the original August 6 date without providing a new timeline. The company says it's facing "unexpected production delays," though it hasn't said which part of the device is impacted or how long the delay might be.

The FlexStrike fight stick is PlayStation's first official arcade stick for PS5 and PC, aimed at casual to competitive players. The stick's main buttons sit on an incline for a more comfortable layout during long sessions. Players can use a PlayStation Link USB adapter for wireless play or a USB-C adapter for lower lag.

The accessory also includes a touchpad above the buttons and allows users to change the restrictor gates for better directional input control.

Last time Sony had a positive update on the FlexStrike, it priced the accessory at $199.99 in the US...
