Only 1 In 8 Indian Enterprises Has A Complete View Of IT Spend, Says Study
Only 12% of Indian enterprises have a fully consolidated, enterprise-wide view of their IT spending, even as investments in artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing and cybersecurity continue to grow, according to a new report released by Cognizant in collaboration with Dun & Bradstreet.
The report, Smarter IT Spend: From Cost Control to Cost Intelligence, surveyed 105 senior business and technology leaders across sectors including banking, manufacturing, healthcare and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). It highlights a growing disconnect between rising technology investments and organizations' ability to track and govern those investments effectively.
According to the study, 80% of organizations are increasing technology investments primarily to drive revenue growth rather than reduce costs. AI-driven automation, cloud migration and cybersecurity are the top technology priorities for the next 12 months.
