Of tokenomics, ‘SaaSpocalypse’, and agentic ways of thinking - Salesforce’s Joe Inzerillo tackles some definitions of the enterprise future
Last time we heard from Joe Inzerillo, Salesforce’s VP for Enterprise and AI Technology, he was having a go at offering his own spin on what the firm means by ‘headless’.
Keeping him seated in ‘dictionary corner’, I took the chance to run another couple of terms ‘de jour’ by him to see what he makes of them - ‘SaaSpocalypse’ and ‘tokenomics’. Which one annoys him more, I wondered, and do either of them keep him awake at night in the same way they appear to do some other people?
The answer to the second question is a firm rebuttal:
When people say those words, all I hear is opportunity.
But he adds:
They're both mis-guided for various different reasons.
