NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL) has crossed one million e-challan transactions on Bharat Connect, processing payments worth over ₹60 crore

NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has crossed a major milestone in its e-challan payments service, processing more than one million transactions with a total value exceeding ₹60 crore through Bharat Connect.

The achievement underscores the growing adoption of digital payment channels for civic services as citizens increasingly shift towards online platforms for paying traffic challans and other government-related dues.

The e-challan category on Bharat Connect allows users to view and pay traffic penalties through a unified and interoperable platform. The service is currently available across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi, with additional states expected to join the network in the coming months.
