Meta Names Akshay Gandotra Global Marketing Lead for Messaging

Meta has appointed Akshay Gandotra as Global Marketing Lead, Business Messaging, with a focus on executive engagement programs for WhatsApp Business Platform and Business AI.

Gandotra confirmed the appointment through a LinkedIn post, outlining his responsibility for connecting senior business leaders with Meta's messaging and AI offerings.

The appointment comes as Meta looks to strengthen conversations with enterprises about using AI alongside business messaging.

Focus on WhatsApp Business and AI

In his new role, Gandotra will develop executive engagement programs aimed at C-suite leaders, focusing on how AI and messaging can work together in business environments.
