Meta Brings Incognito AI Chats To WhatsApp Amid Privacy Concerns

Meta has introduced an “incognito” mode for Meta AI on WhatsApp, positioning privacy as a core feature rather than an optional setting. The company said conversations in the new Incognito Chat mode will be processed in a “secure environment” that even Meta cannot access. Chats will not be saved by default and will disappear once the session ends.

As artificial intelligence assistants become part of everyday communication, the conversation around privacy is moving far beyond social media tracking or app permissions.
