Kevin Feige Gives Hint About the Future of the MCU

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) began in 2008 with the film Iron Man. Nearly 20 years later, Marvel and a lot of its characters have become household names. But nothing lasts forever. This once seemingly unstoppable juggernaut has hit roadblock after roadblock.

Prelude - Road to the Reboot

It was reported that Marvel Studios was surprised by the negative reception Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania received. Then Marvel let go of the actor who was supposed to play the overarching villain in future phase(s?) and then scratched the character altogether. Of course, removing your planned big bad of the entire MCU would cause drastic changes. For example, the previously planned film, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, was cancelled.

It was instead replaced with Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to be released this Christmas.
