I've watched the first 2 episodes of Lioness season 3 and Joe's job is more brutal and vulnerable than ever — as Taylor Sheridan takes an even bigger command
Lioness has always been the weakest Taylor Sheridan series in my eyes, and ranking doesn't change with season 3. However, new episodes have definitely upped the dramatic ante, with episode 2 containing the most brutal scene I've seen to date.
Pros
- +Much darker, more vulnerable, and brutal than the previous two seasons
- +Taylor Sheridan being his own action star will never not make me laugh
- +Lots of Nicole Kidman
- +Action moves away from typical Middle East conflict to something less expected
Cons
- -Still the weakest Taylor Sheridan show of the bunch
- -The military jargon is so heavy that I never fully understand what is happening
