[3] Firewalls, WAFs, IPS and DDoS solutions provide only partial DNS protection. Unrestricted DNS access can leave organisations exposed to attacks such as DNS tunnelling, data exfiltration, cache poisoning, DoS/DDoS and man-in-the-middle attacks.
