Most sim racers treat Gran Turismo 7 like a game, because it is one. Make a mistake? Reset. Get punted into the wall? Reset. There are no consequences, no accountability, no reason to change anything. I stopped thinking that way a long time ago. I started approaching sim racing thinking like I own the car. The damage bill is mine. The repair costs are mine. And if something goes badly wrong at speed, that's on me, too. It's a mental shift that sounds small but changes everything about how you approach sim racing. Your patience, your positioning, your respect for the people around you. It also makes you a lot more honest about who's actually causing the problems on track.
