Fume Extractor Automatically Engages When the Air Gets Dirty
While I personally like to savor the delightful scent of melting solder and boiling rosin, others say things like “that’s bad for your health” and “seriously, please stop doing that, we’re worried about you.” Curious Scientist gave into the peer pressure and got a fume extractor for his workbench. Then, several months ago, he added remote control to that. Now he’s back again and this time he has fully automated the fume extractor.
This is a Vevor fume extractor and it is a fairly large unit. For that reason, Mr. Scientist did the reasonable thing and shoved the machine under his bench. It was out of the way there, but it was also hard to reach to turn on. That’s why he added Bluetooth-based remote control, so he could turn the thing on without crawling around on the ground like he had just lost an M2 screw.
