Fluance RT87 turntable review: a superb-sounding (and looking) deck, only marred by its slightly finicky setup
The Fluance RT87 might be just a little inconvenient, what with all the fiddling it requires for proper setup, but you'll forgive it once it's up and running. Why? Because it sounds glorious when it's good and ready. It’s pretty heavy duty, with a heavy plinth and hefty acrylic platter. Price-wise, it lands somewhere in 'prosumer' land too, which might be out of reach for anyone just getting into vinyl. But as a step-up plate spinner? It's a great contender.
