I used the De'Longhi Magnifica Start for three weeks — it makes great coffee, but testing it revealed a few frustrating quirks
The De'Longhi Magnifica Start is an appealing entry-level automatic coffee machine if you’re going to be satisfied with a limited selection of drinks. It produces consistently good espresso with an appealing crema, while the LatteCrema automatic milk-frothing system delivers impressive results with both dairy and plant-based milk. Its compact dimensions are another advantage, particularly for smaller kitchens, although I found the controls and customization options took some getting used to. Despite needing a little patience initially, I found that the Magnifica Start offers plenty of functionality for its price and the results make the effort worthwhile.
