Enola Holmes 3 lives up to its numbering by being the most three-star movie in existence — much like its two predecessors. The cosy yet engaging crime continues, despite the big reveal not being that... well, big.

Pros

  • +Engaging, entertaining, and fun throughout
  • +Shrewdly designed animated title sequences
  • +Core cast is as on form as they ever were
  • +Philip Barantini can do no wrong as a director in my eyes

Cons

  • -Glaring continuity errors
  • -Millie Bobby Brown is brilliant, but has 'iPhone face'
  • -Jack Thorne's script isn't revolutionary, but it isn't supposed to be
