Dawnguard Raises $6.3M Led by BNVT Capital as AI-Code Vulnerabilities Jump 13x in a Quarter

In March 2026 alone, researchers confirmed more security vulnerabilities traced back to AI-generated code than had been confirmed across the entirety of 2025. It is not the result of careless engineers. It is not a symptom of weaker code review standards than a year ago. It is the mechanical consequence of software now being written faster than any existing security process, including the ones built specifically to catch AI-era risk, was ever designed to check.

Dawnguard is betting that gap is where the next layer of cybersecurity infrastructure gets built.
