More than 1,000 businesses use it, the company says, naming Atlassian, Zendesk, Seismic and Ironclad. It reports customer claims of fivefold productivity gains and 80% lower production costs, neither independently verified.

The market it is entering already has a leader, and the leader is British. Synthesia, in London, was valued at $4B in January after raising $200M in a round led by Google Ventures.
