CIO Fabio Agostini adds quantum encryption to luxury travel

CIO Fabio Agostini is making an early commitment to quantum security as part of a technology infrastructure modernization and consolidation program he is leading at international luxury travel firm A&K Travel Group. As the implementation begins, the CIO took time to explain his reasons for being an early adopter of quantum security.

A&K Travel Group provides luxury holidays via the brands Abercrombie & Kent, Crystal, Cox & Kings and Ecoventura. The business employs 4,000 staff in 65 offices in 40 countries. CIO Agostini adds:

We run our own destination management network in over 100 countries. From a technology perspective, that means we're operating across tour operations, ultra-luxury cruise, safari lodges, riverboats and private jet programs, often in some of the world's most remote regions. The infrastructure has to support all of that, end to end.
