Centricity Raises Rs 280 Crore To Scale Tech-Led Wealth Platform

Gurugram-based Centricity has raised Rs 280 crore in a Series A round led by SMBC Asia Rising Fund, with existing investors including Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Kuldeep Rathi Family Office, Stride Venture, and Innoven Capital also participating.

The company said the round comprises Rs 280 crore in equity and venture financing. The capital will go towards strengthening its technology stack, expanding its business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) wealth distribution platform, and growing its private wealth and NRI global private client businesses.

Moving Beyond Product Distribution

Centricity was founded in 2022 by private banking executives with backgrounds across Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Kotak, and 360 ONE WAM. Its proposition is built around bringing independent financial advisors and wealth clients onto a technology-led platform rather than relying solely on traditional product distribution models.
