Boomi World '26 - cataloging retail sales with Loren Data
Loren Data has been a Boomi partner since 2023, when it integrated its ECGrid EDI network with Boomi’s platform. It was founded in 1987, initially to build EDI systems for the US government, and expanded later into internet based EDI networks.
Although it does have some mega retail customers like Target and Best Buy, where it handles data flows and real time connections, it moved to a partner centric approach, and now has around 130 partners including Boomi.
It now provides EDI network services for the Boomi enterprise platform, and last year it launched ECGrid Assist AI Agent for the Boomi Marketplace, which lets users automatically generate EDI profiles from raw documents or PDFs. In 2026 it was Boomi’s Technology Partner of the Year.
Loren Data CSO, Tony D’Angelo joined the company about seven years ago, from a competitor, when Loren Data won retailer Target as a customer. He says:
