The Rewindpix compact camera ‘delivers massive amounts of retro kitsch’ — it’s as close as digital gets to the feeling of shooting film
This is the first film-style compact that for me has come close to replicating the feel of analog photography – the excitement and anticipation. The huge repertoire of film-style looks in the companion app makes me feel like a kid in a candy store, and the stylish body nails the point-and-shoot aesthetic. It delivers massive amounts of retro kitsch, at a price low enough to warrant taking a chance on if it sounds like your cup of tea.
Pros
- +Amazing selection of film-like looks
- +Big optical viewfinder
- +Lightweight, pocket-friendly build
Cons
- -Auto-power off can be annoying
- -Small sensor limits dynamic range
