BITS Pilani Partners With IAIRO To Boost AI Research And Talent Development In India
BITS Pilani has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian AI Research Organisation (IAIRO) to strengthen India's artificial intelligence (AI) research ecosystem through joint research, academic collaboration and talent development.
The partnership will focus on collaborative AI research, advanced research infrastructure, executive education, and knowledge exchange between academia and applied AI researchers. The announcement was made on August 4.
Under the agreement, both organizations will undertake joint research programs in emerging AI fields and jointly pursue research grants from national and international funding agencies. They will also explore opportunities to establish advanced AI research infrastructure through external funding.
Expanding AI Education
The collaboration includes executive education programs, specialized AI certification courses, workshops, conferences, technical seminars and other initiatives aimed at building AI capabilities across academia and industry.
