'Avatar: Fire and Ash' Will Hit Disney Plus in June
The third entry in James Cameron's hit franchise is coming to streaming.
Avatar: Fire and Ash was in theaters nearly six months ago and, in June, the movie will hit Disney Plus.
Sigourney Weaver hit the stage to deliver the news during Disney's Upfront presentation on Tuesday. The actor revealed the third entry in James Cameron's high-grossing franchise will make its streaming premiere on June 24.
Avatar: Fire and Ash continues the story of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) as they are hunted by Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) and his squad. Franchise newcomer Oona Chaplin plays Varang, who leads an opposing Na'vi clan that teams up with Quaritch and his military team to hunt the Sully clan.
